Why This Is Free

I built this because I needed it. I paddle from Imperial Wharf, and I got tired of cross-referencing tide tables, weather forecasts, and sunrise times before every session. So I made something that pulls it all together.

Decision-support, not a green light

This tool gathers tide, weather, and daylight data into one view so you can make better calls about when and where to paddle. It does not decide for you.

A green score does not mean go. A red score does not mean conditions are impossible. You look at the river, check the forecast, and make your own call. Clarity comes before convenience.

No ads. No data selling.

There are no ads on this site. There is no account system. Your data is not collected or sold. Analytics are anonymous and only run if you consent.

Support is optional

Hosting and API calls cost money. If you find this useful, there are a few optional ways to help out — affiliate links for gear, or buying me a beer. None of that changes what you get. The tool works the same either way.

Why it stays free

The information that keeps you off the water on a bad day should not sit behind a paywall. Understanding tides and conditions is not a premium feature.
